About Ginger
Companies Can No Longer Sit On The Sidelines
WE BELIEVE that companies can no longer sit on the sidelines and that they owe YOU for the value of your patronage. What is owed is for companies to support your favorite artists on Ginger. They have the money. While 2020 was a time of death, disruption and economic downtown, it was a banner year for 17 of the largest 25 companies: an additional $85 billion in revenue coupled with tax cuts resulting in close to $10 billion less for the federal government. Of this windfall, what doesn’t go to the CEO’s is used to influence you, your beliefs and your actions. Time to turn the tables.
What We Believe In
We believe in Music and the arts. Good music requires honesty – and that’s what we need today, just a little bit of transparency. So let’s be honest. Here is what we believe in:
The Ginger Manifesto - Without Apologies - for Starters:
We believe in love, grace, empathy and kindness.
We believe in our precious planet, that climate change is real, and that time is short.
We believe racism and sexism are real and systemic, and that human dignity and the right of everyone, rich, poor, white, black, brown, to be treated with respect is critical to our future.
We believe in music for music sake, art for art’s sake, and that the visions, ideas, beliefs and dreams of independent artists best defines our world, moves us positively forward, and deserves brand support now, right now.
We believe that companies that believe in what we believe in earn our patronage and support, and those that don't, don't.
We believe that you have the power to make things better, to compel change, to change behavior of those in power, and that the time to act is now.
Without apologies.
